ETSY lab

First let me say, that I am completely enamored with this blog. I’m really starting to enjoy working with Photoshop and getting a handle on how things work in the blog world! When I began to create this space (with the help of others, of course) I also became a part of ETSY, bloglovin’ and some meet-up groups. It was a convergence of social media! With all of that, I was introduced to ETSY Labs!

For those of you in the NYC area, ETSY has an office in Dumbo, Brooklyn. They have a community workspace [Etsy Labs] where fellow crafters can unite. They hold workshops and allow you to use their equipment as well. They have a wall full of books, sewing machines and lots of other supplies.

Here’s a sneak peak inside the studio…

I went to the free workshop this past Monday, so in honor of Valentine’s Day we painted glass heart ornaments. Every crafter was given three glass hearts and we were all supplied with plenty of pebeo markers. Here’s a look at my little workspace…

My table of crafters were great company for the night! Oh and I forgot to mention the BEST part of EtsyLabs…

THEY HAVE A PHOTOBOOTH!!

LOVE.

Hope everyone had a great day!!…Just wanted to share a little round-up of things I made this Valentine’s Day season.

Some holiday crafts….

a little cute LOVE bug…inspired by this. I felt it needed a little something extra, so I added a moustache.

A little heart-shaped purse. I tried to follow this tutorial, but I ended up changing how I made it a bit. Once I get a little better at zippers, I plan on making a tutorial!a little hair clip for a co-workers daughter. (I need a niece already. hint, hint)

And just for fun…here’s some LOVE from around our neighborhood! On our block.

Love in the kitchen. (his and hers)

I found this free owl calendar download. Owls for every month=LOVE!

waitin’ on you!

My name is Emilee…also known as EB, Em, or Beelime (my name backwards).

I have been a blog follower for well over a year now. My bookmarks are filled with blog’s that I have found such inspiration from! I’ve been talking about starting my own blog for a while…and thankfully my boyfriend (KPA) took the plunge for me when he bought the domain names!! Being that it was such a thoughtful gift, I was left with no choice but to stop talking about it and starting doing it!

I am a second grade teacher living in Brooklyn, New York and I have been creating various things since I can remember. I hope to use this space to be expressive, share my ideas, creations and all the adventures along the way!
